Britney Spears isn't the only one feeling regretful now that a song she turned down has made someone else a bucket of money.
Much like she refused to put Lady Gaga's hit "Telephone" on her Circus album, Ronan Keating revealed to Merrick, Dools and Ricki-Lee today, the song he regrets letting slip.
"Bono gave us a song called 'Sweetest Thing' which would have been on our third studio album. We actually went into the studio and tried to do it, and it just didn't work. It didn't sound like us, it sounded like Boyzone doing a U2 track."
You heard it here first.
'Sweetest Thing'was originally released in 1987 as a B-side on the "Where the Streets Have No Name" single. The song was later re-recorded and re-released, as a single for the U2 compilation album, The Best of 1980-1990, in 1998.
