The only film project Katy Perry and Russell Brand will ever work on together is something that won't require a wardrobe department or script writer.
"We'll do a sex tape! Give them what they want," Brand joked at an event where he was promoting his autobiography sequel Booky Wook 2.
As for anything requiring real acting or a plot, Brand isn't interested.
"She's very good at what she does, and I feel it's very distinct from what I do," he said.
"It takes up enough of my time to be in love with her. Negotiating in films is very, very hard. Imagine having to direct someone you really love - it would be a f*cking nightmare."
The couple are expected to tie the knot at Ram Bagh Palace in Jaipur, India, later this month in front of family and friends including Rihanna.
They've booked out several tents in the Rajasthan desert resort of Aman-i-khas where they can be pampered in luxury in the run-up to the big day.
The celebration is rumoured to last around six days. Brand has said it won't be an over-the-top wedding, despite rumours of latex bridal gowns.
"We'll get married in front of our friends and family and keep it sort of normal," he said.
