Simple Plan releasing first book in November 2012
Believe it or not, it's been a decade since Simple Plan released their first album, No Pads, No Helmets... Just Balls, and to celebrate, the group is publishing a book for the first time.
The book will be published in November 2012 and will be filled with exclusive material, including photos taken worldwide by Patrick Langlois, memorabilia, artifacts and personal archives from the last 10 years.
According to a statement, "the book will also include texts by journalist Kathleen Lavoie, following the band’s career from the very beginning. The scene to aircraft via the tour bus and recording studios, the book is an invitation to discover the fascinating world of Simple Plan."
The Canadian pop punk band released its fourth album, Get Your Heart On!, in 2011. The record has spawned successful singles including "Summer Paradise" and "Jetlag", featuring Natasha Bedingfield.
