When Spencer Pratt isn't blasting celebrities on Twitter, shelling out cash on crystals or selling sex tapes, he's apparently spending his time convening with spirits in the Costa Rican jungle.
The reality television star was busted for firearm offences in the Central American nation over the weekend, and blamed his solo jungle escapades for his brush with the law.
He was leaving the country - where wife Heidi Montag has set up house - when he was arrested for carrying firearms.
He pleaded guilty, was charged, found guilty and let go - all in the space of a few hours.
Always the famewhore, he released a statement to TMZ.
"As part of my spiritual cleansing I've spent the last week living alone in the jungle, reflecting on my past transgressions, and working to become a better person," he said.
"I had to live off the land, and hunt to survive.
"As I departed the country this morning to continue my spiritual journey, I mistakenly brought my hunting weapons to the airport.
"It was an honest mistake, and they sent me on my way. On an unrelated note, I'm not allowed in the country anymore - but that's because of the chicken incident."
Um, not sure we want to know anything about that thanks.
