Stunt gone wrong forces Justin Bieber to cancel TV show
Justin Bieber was scheduled to appear on a popular German game show called Wetten Dass but has been forced to cancel his appearance after another performer's stunt went wrong.
The live broadcast to 10 million viewers was canned on Saturday when 23-year-old Samuel Koch attempted to jump over a moving car wearing shoes hooked up to a suspension system. He ended up badly injuring himself according to reports from Us Magazine.
Bieber took to his Twitter to explain the no-show.
"Just want to let my people in Germany know I won't be on Wetten Dass tonight as an accident has taken place and we all don't think it is right to continue. Please pray for Samuel Koch & his family as we wait and hope for his health and safety."
He continued: "Germany I'm sorry we couldn't perform tonight but some things are more important than putting on a show. We will be back I promise. Thank u"
It was reported that Koch sustained multiple back injuries and fractures and underwent surgery today. His condition not life-threatening but he remains in critical condition.
