Summafieldayze organisers have warned revellers about the risks of bringing drugs into the festival.
The warning comes after new laws banning the sale of full-strength alcohol were brought in last year.
It will be the first Summafieldayze event to face the restrictions.
Promotor Billy Cross warned festivalgoers that it was not worth the risk to bring drugs into the festival to supplement the mid-strength alcohol available.
"Don't even go there," he told The Courier-Mail in Brisbane.
"There'll be 65 police and there is always the risk they could have the sniffer dogs.
"Come to the event with a big smile on your face but don't bring any drugs"
Tickets are still available.
