Be careful what you say around Taylor Momsen, unless you want a piece of her mind.
The singer has spoken out about how much it gets under her skin every time she is mentioned in the same breath as fellow young star Miley Cyrus.
Talking to FHM UK about her musical endeavors with her band, The Pretty Reckless, the 16-year-old actress/rocker said, “I’m not looking to be Miley f**king Cyrus. I don’t care about the fame. I do it because I love music. I like making records and if people like them, then we’ll go along for the ride.“
Currently on tour with the Vans Warped Tour, Momsen continued, “I’m not dissing Miley personally. However, I do think the Disney bubblegum sh** that the world is living right now is pathetic. I thought we passed that repression.”
Ending her venting session, the “Gossip Girl” babe added, “I don’t know Miley, but musically we’re different. To compare us because of our age is silly.“
