Taylor Swift has her sights set on a movie role

After getting a taste of some small on-screen roles, Taylor Swift says she'd love to jump into something bigger if given the right opportunity.

Swift, who snatched a whopping five surfboards at this year's Teen Choice Awards, would love to develop a career in film.

"I've been reading scripts for years and there's never been anything that fit in (my) schedule that I also loved," she told Entertainment Tonight.

"So if those two things could happen, I would love to be in a movie."

One of Swift's five Teen Choice Awards was the 'Choice Movie Voice' award for her role in the animated flick, Dr. Seuss' The Lorax.

Can you imagine sitting down in a movie cinema with a box of popcorn, watching Taylor Swift?
