Meshel, Tim and Marty wanna know if texting is doing your head in.

There’s a new range of disorders that mainly teenagers are being diagnosed with because they’re addicted to sms’ing on their mobiles.

The conditions range from post-traumatic text disorder where you stress about what you’ve sent to textaphrenia where you think you hear your phone beeping with a new message.

Shane from Coolum called MTM to say he gets ‘phantom vibrations’ from his phone.

Shane wears his mobile on his hip all week at work and then thinks he feels the vibrations of a new message when he’s not wearing it on the weekend.

Talisha wrote on the novafm.com.au forum: “I get the post traumatic text disorder every Saturday morning when I check my phone and see the dodgy drunk texts I sent the nite before.”
