Not many people can claim to have died and come back but Tiesto has.
When you are the hottest DJ in the world, people are going to make up their own rumours every now and then. When a recent news story reported Tiesto's false death, the online world went into a spin.
"Everybody on my Twitter was freaking out," Tiesto told Merrick, Dools and Ricki-Lee. "They were like ‘oh my god what's happened?"
"The funny thing is, people who read the article saw I died in a car accident in LA but if you looked on my Twitter at the time I was in Europe. All day it was like, 'please let me know you didn't die' - come on."
The DJ was speaking to NovaFM about his recent inclusion in the DJ gaming phenomenon that is DJ Hero 2. And he compared that to his real-life drama.
"The thing with DJ Hero 2 is I can never die anymore - I'm immortalised," he joked.
