First team challenge for series two. They're divided into red and blue.
That rhymed, good start to Masterchef blog number two!
One day it's chicken cheese slice, the next it's taking over two Italian restaurants for the day and the customers pay what they feel the nosh is worth.
Captain Alvin ran the Reds and then picked Johnathan to front the Blues.
His reason "'cause he's been rubbing people off the wrong way..." His words.
(Then I flicked over to Hey Hey It's Saturday... Had a laugh at the 100-year-old belly dancer on Red Faces then back into the Masterchef action.
Anyway...)
Matt Preston seemed to be the only judge who ate at both restaurants...
Good on him! But it was all about how much cash they got at the end of the night. Reds stuck to pizza and pasta and Blues went fancy pants, with a sprinkling of crying. Always with the crying.
Apart from the fact that running a restaurant looks like it sucks, Sarah left the comp because she missed her family and Alvin's chipmunks took out the prize! And the Blue team's Devon and Jonathan battle it out tonight in an elimination final... dum dum!
