British breakout rapper Tinie Tempah is a special guest on The Script's 2011 Australian tour and says the pairing is all a part of musical evolution.
"I was talking about wanting to work with them for a little while now and I'm a big fan of The Script - I like that they bring something fresh to the table," he says. "They recently did a Live Lounge cover of my track, Written in the Stars, and I was so flattered. We met at a festival shortly after that and the rest is history."

Talking to NovaFM ahead of his appearance at Pyramid Rock Festival from Wednesday 29 December to Saturday 1 January, the UK rapper also said the big acts in the charts who share stages and mix up the genres were paving the way for a healthy musical future.
"Jay-Z supported Coldplay and then supported U2 so the way people interpret music has changed," he says. "Now you have an iPod playlist and you might have 10 different artists from all over the world if you want. The way people buy music and the way people see music is changing and evolving. It's up to artists to carry on making music exciting with collaborations between old and new, English and Australian. Everyone listens on a world level now."
Tinie Tempah has previously toured with big guns like Rihanna and Jay-Z, released his debut album Disc-Overy this year, featuring the hit tracks "Pass Out" and "Written in the Stars".
