Number 1: Still holding frim at number 1 is the new Nike commercial! With the world cup coming up this one is going absolutely gang busters! A very cool concept with some very cool cameos (including Roger Federer and Homer Simpson) and some very slick production. Probably cost the GDP of a small African nation (or New Zealand) to produce, but who cares! In my mind kids in Africa can go hungry if Nike keep making ads like this…maybe if said kids worked, making nikes say, they wouldn’t go hungry…anyhow…cool ad all the same.
Number 2: Still that smug bastard David Guetta and his mates Fergie and LMFAO with their remix of “Over You”. But as I said yesterday...this film clip sh#ts me! So I decided to include Rihanna’s new film clip for “Rockstar 101”. The film clip features legendary guitarist Slash from Guns and Roses fame...or is it just Rihanna dressed as Slash...I’m confused. Anyhow, it doesn’t matter what Rihanna is dressed like. She could dress up like Susan Boyle and I would still find her attractive. Expect to see this clip creep up the charts over the coming days!
Number 3: There are 3 ways to make a successful internet video. The first being, hurt yourself...badly...preferably light yourself on fire and get someone to film it. The second...force your young child to perform some sort of cute adaptation of a Broadway musical...make sure you don’t film your constructive criticism or swift slaps to their head when their spirit fingers don’t carry enough spirit. Finally, find a bear that can perform Kung Fu and film it! That’s right! Cloud the Kung Fu fighting bear is fly kicking his way up the viral video charts. Make sure you send this vid to all your mates, it’s going to be a classic!
Number 4: Epic fails always do well when it comes to viral videos and this vid is no exception. It’s always good to know that no matter how dumb you are there will always be someone out there a little dumber than you! This reporter is bound to make you feel good about yourself as he struggles to break a car window...I know what you are thinking...”it’s hard to break a car window”...not with a hammer it’s not! My advice for this young journo, if you lose your job and have to turn to a life of crime to survive...you’re f#cked!
Number 5: Teen Werewolves...no I’m not talking about that awesome Michael J Fox film Teen Wolf. Apparently there is a new trend in the states where kids pose as werewolves, complete with fuzzy little tails. When I was in high school we had names for kids like this...well actually, we didn’t... because no one liked them enough to learn their names. Anyhow, why can’t these kids just be Goths or Emos like normal confused, rebellious teenagers, were they not cool enough to be Emos? Ouch! Maybe they don’t like My Chemical Romance that’s why they’re not Emos.
