Nicki Minaj fans all over the world are sending messages of support, prayer and strength following the news of her cousin's murder in New York City.
Minaj's cousin, Nicholas, was killed late Sunday evening.
As soon as the rapper found out she shared the news with her 4.1 million Twitter followers.
Minaj posted a picture of her cousin with the words: "Lived in Brooklyn his whole life. My precious cousin. My baby. Killed last nite."
Minaj is currently touring the states with Britney Spears who Tweeted support for her opening guest.
"Please keep @NickiMinaj & her family in your prayers.... keep up the amazing love and support you guys have for her. -Britney"
