Big-name artists like Lady gaga, Usher and Justin Timberlake are just a few artists who will steer clear of Facebook and Twitter in an effort to raise funds for charity.
The musicians are taking part in Digital Life Sacrifice, a campaign organised by Alicia Keys to raise vital funds for World Aids Day. The celebs will stop using social networking sites on November 30 and only return to Tweet and Facebook once $1million has been raised for the Keep A Child Alive charity.
Overseas reports suggest Elijah Wood, Jennifer Hudson and Serena Williams re also on board. "Once I got people on the phone and I was able to paint the concept for them, everybody was in,” Keys said.
