Vampire Weekend have revealed they're frustrated by a lawsuit concerning the cover for their latest album Contra.
As we reported last week, the band are being sued by cover girl Kirsten Kennis for US$2 million amid claims she never consented to her photograph being used.
Speaking with NME Vampire Weekend frontman Ezra Koenig confirmed the lawsuit but refused to go into details.
"There’s so many things we could say about it but given we have no experience of it we’re just keeping conversations to a journal for now, which is a little frustrating," Koenig explained.
"There’s nothing we can say about it. We’re not trying to be mysterious. I imagine in the next few months there’ll be plenty to talk about. Given it’s our first time we just want to do it properly."
