Will Justin Bieber head back to the big screen?

The 17-year-old, who has just released the first single off his new Xmas album, told MTV he and his team were working on a script.

"What's happening is: Get off this tour, and then my (holiday) album's coming out, so I have to go back out and promote that album ... and then after that ... it's almost time for my next album, so then everything starts over again," he said.

"Hopefully next summer I can start on a movie or something.

"I definitely want to do more acting, and further my career in that area, that's something I would love to do."

Bieber's first single "Mistletoe" released from his upcoming album is already peaking at #2 on the Aussie iTunes charts and it's only October.
