UPDATE 01/06: After selling out their first Melbourne show, the band has added another date at the same venue for the night before.
"It has been five years since we played headlining shows on your giant, amazing island and for that, we do apologize," the group said.
Their most recent Australian appearance was at the Soundwave Revolution festival in 2011.
The group released their last album, When You're Through Thinking, Say Yes, was released last year but there is an album slated for release around the time of the tour.
Sydney pop punk band Heroes For Hire will support throughout the tour, with local acts also appearing at each show.
