This gorgeous girl has been home on the Gold Coast, trying not to let fame go to her head, scrubbing toilets and reading up on current affairs. But what was her angle for getting involved in the contest?
"I want to start up a foundation for youth at some time in the future and I saw Miss Universe as a stepping stone to take me there," she told Merrick, Dools and Ricki-Lee. So you see, she's not just a pretty face.

Just last year, Jesinta was the star of national campaigns for Telstra, UnderCoverWear and Davenport alongside Stephanie Rice and Eamon Sullivan. She also modeled with Jennifer Hawkins at Myers Spring/Summer launch parade in Sydney and appeared in her first short film, Synethesia with Jessica Tovey (Home and Away/ Rescue Special OPS).
