Here's this weeks best bits from Nathan, Nat and Shaun's breakfast show on Nova 93.7
Can your family play happy family when there are exes involved ? Imagine two women are friends and go to the footy together, or where you can't even be in the same country as each other, and then dear Roz. She adopted 4 step children OF HER ex when the mother walked out on them. Absolutely touching.
We met him during Agony Uncles, and now he is town for a few shows about procrastination. Lawrence procrastinations by doing things like the washing and cleaning, eating strictly cinnamon donuts, and touching doggies doodles.
Shaun was a bit intense on his boys at swimming lessons, so the guys wanted to know when you have been over the top. Warren pulled his son into line to get his footy skills up to scratch, which he did, only to then fall over and break his leg. While Ally is an intense sister, with the tag line 'Do it right, do it now'
Two marathons a day for ten months. Ultra Marathon runner Pat Farmer ran from the North Pole to the South pole in a little over 10 months, and sometimes covered 100kms a day. He faced wild bears, the most dangerous jungle in the world, and a harden up message from his son. More info at www.poletopolerun.com. Make sure you type in run.
Microwaves that attack:
Nathan brought in a stat that said 1 in 10 burns admitted to hospital are from a microwave. Caz's boyfriend attached the microwave the wall, which fell on her foot, Teagan had hot wax burn her palms and Bec says her microwave is completely against her.
Nathan, Nat and Shaun had planned to prank Eagle’s midfielder with a duck, but the duck ran late so they made Felicity Ward hold the duck instead. While it’s her fourth or fifth interview with a duck, it is needless to say she will leave Perth after her stint at the comedy festival with bad things to say.
Tanning Gone Wrong:
When have you had a bad tanning experience? How about spilling the bottle all over one foot, or falling asleep under train track slats and waking up like a red and white zebra.
The Biggest Winner:
Margie took home the title of ‘The Biggest Loser’. Michelle Bridges said to her she ‘would take one for the team’ if she won! Call her Michelle, she’s waiting. But other than asking about making Michelle feel awkward, the guys asked her whether she’d consider getting back into rugby and if the was love on the cards, outside of camp biggest loser.
