Why the music world is collaborating so much

It seems like every song has more than one artist on the track and according to Jay Sean "There is two major reasons why we do them". he says. 

"Music really isn't what it use to be anymore, it's not in its own little pigeon holes" says Sean. "Everything is a bit of everything now. Pop artists are doing RnB records. There is RnB artist doing pop records and dance records. There is a cross pollination of music going on". he explains.

With more and more power couples popping up in the music world it's coming down to these collaborations Sean explains.

"Lets take the King of this genre and lets take the Queen of that this genre put them together and give that to the world. Hence that's why you have such powerful collaborations." he says 

Jay Sean is currently working on a tour plans and is planning on being back in Australia by the end of the year.
