Wil Anderson says Channel Seven was at an unfair advantage when it allegedly tasered Channel Nine in South Africa - and you won't guess why.
The comedian explained to the Action Battle Team his theory on the supposed tasering that occured between security for the networks at the World Cup on the weekend.
"This is one of those things where Channel Nine is at an unfair advantage because they have tasers as well, but they have to keep them in Australia to start Bert Newton's heart every day!" he said.
"Bert's like, 'I was going towards the light and I was so happy. I was going to see Don (Lane) and Graham (Kennedy) and I was so happy!' But no, come back, we've got no new personalities! Oh hang on, we've found Darryl (Somers) down the back of the couch - he'll do."
Wil had some interesting ideas on incorporating tasering into sport, but we'll let you listen.
Catch Wil Anderson on THE GRUEN TRANSFER - it returns to ABC1, Wednesday, June 16, at 9pm.
