My Lasting Reply

My Lasting Reply is the exciting new project from Melbourne based singer/songwriter Ryan Enright, a talented multi-instrumentalist performing in bands and as a solo artist for over a decade. His passion for songwriting and performing has earned him support slots with bands/artists from all over the world.

Ryan’s time as primary songwriter and lead vocalist/guitarist in bands Sunset Avenue and The Invitation, lead to multiple tours across the east coast and south of Australia. He has shared the stage with some of Australia’s finest talent including Gyroscope, Kisschasy, Airborne, Bliss n Esso & The Getaway Plan, as well as international acts Anberlin (USA), MxPx (USA), Motion City Soundtrack (USA), Houston Calls (USA), Millencolin (SWE), Project 86 (USA), Kenny Vasoli of The Starting Line (USA) & Mest (USA).

But it is with My Lasting Reply that Ryan has really found himself as a musician, captivating listeners through intricate melodies, honest lyrics, cleverly crafted chord progressions and a compelling use of instrumentation. With a growing list of songwriting awards, including three top 10 placings in the Australian Songwriting Association’s annual songwriting contest, it is not surprising that his most recent works have gained airplay on major commercial radio stations Nova, Fox FM and Triple M nation-wide.

After a 6 month stint overseas traveling and songwriting throughout Europe/Canada/USA, Ryan is back with a full band ready to take on the world. In January this year, the band made their debut performance at the 2011 Australian Open supporting Bluejuice, an impressive show for any band let alone a first ever show.
