Fitzy and Wippa's Liverpool Hop Of Honour

Aussie gold overnight means one thing at Nova 969 - it's Hop Of Honour time!

In celebration of Tom Slingsby's sailing gold overnight, we headed out to Liverpool to send 30 boxing kangaroos on a lap of honour around Macquarie St Mall. We had the boom box out the front of the pack, cranking Aussie hits like Land Down Under and You're The Voice, while everyone stared and took photos!

Fitzy stood out among the 30 boxing kangaroos - he was the only one where the kangaroo suit didn't cover his ankles!
