Karen Gillan films final Doctor Who scenes in New York

And to film her final, emotional scenes on the show the cast have all headed Stateside, to New York to be precise.

Karen and Matt Smith were seen recording some of Amy’s last scenes in Central Park yesterday.

It’s not known how the actress and her onscreen husband Rory (played by Arthur Darvill) will be written out however writer Stephen Moffat has described it as a “heartbreaking” storyline.

When asked if Amy dies, Karen apparently said: “It could be possible.”
