He's known as the Snackman but on Sunday Wippa completed the City2Surf wearing nothing but speedos and body paint for the Cancer Council NSW, proving he's more than just a man who loves snacks.
Wippa's plan that ended up bringing in $22,000 for Cancer Council fo NSW was to sell his body. In the lead up to City2Surf, businesses rang Nova FM's Fitzy and Wippa to bid to have their name/logo on a Wippa body part.
On Sunday, despite the freezing cold conditions, Wippa was true to his promise, getting painted with all the logos and pulling on nothing but his speedos and shoes. He was joined on the run by a group of Nova staff and some of the people who had sponsored him, including Jackson and James from New Love Attic and Roof Conversions, who painted themselves entirely in yellow.
Nova had a huge presence at the City2Surf with the tens of thousands of runners making the most of the free lollies and pumping tunes. Harlee McLeod was broadcasting live and the Casanovas were at their friendly best.
Thanks to all these people who supported him...
