Hughesy and Kate were both made honorary Hawks members by Luke Hodge a while back, and so have a slight vested interest in the fortunes of the Hawks out on the pitch.
With the Hawks copping an absolute thumping at the hands of the Tigers on the weekend, Hughesy and Kate knew they needed to do something to appease the AFL gods, to cleanse the Hawthorn spirit and to especially throw off the curse of Buddy Franklin's poor kicking.
So they decided to burn some Hawthorn stuff, including Buddy Franklin's footy... while Hodgey watched. It wasn't pretty.
Was this a good idea Hawks fans? Should Hodgey have given Hughesy a hip and shoulder for this?
