William's opponent was the sprightly Lorraine and the two had to shuffle the 50m track laid out in Church St Mall in Parramatta wearing their golden slippers!
Whoever came in first would win the ultimate day out at the Golden Slipper next Saturday (including helicopter flights) for their grandchild who had nominated them to take part.
