Jessie J connects so deeply to her latest single "Nobody's Perfect" that the tears she shed in the music video were totally real.
“It’s about me being stuck in a world that I can’t get out of,” she said.
“I wanted it to be a very heavy performance, an honest video. The tears are real. I just wanted people to see me taking it a step further.”
"Nobody's Perfect" is a song about the viciousness of gossip, and the idea that once you get embroiled in its web, it’s hard to break free from.
“It’s about me talking about someone behind their back and they found out. I wanted it to be very symbolic of what happens – in a very arty, push-the-boundaries way."
