Katy Perry's "Wide Awake" music video has just been unleashed.
In Perry's fantasy-themed clip, the journey she takes represents the crazy ride she's been on over the last few years which saw her transform from a sweet and religious young American lass, into a global superstar.
In the clip, the pop star is trapped inside a labyrinth. She is attacked by the paps, eats forbidden fruit, discovers and then slaps her Prince Charming, and rediscovers her innocence in the form of a beautiful young girl.
"Wide Awake" featured on Perry's latest release, Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection.
Perry's 3D flick Part of Me will hit cinemas on July 2.
