A MAFS 2021 Trailer Has Dropped And It Looks Spicy AF

It’s November which means next month is December which means we’re getting closer and closer to the 2021 season of MAFS. What can we say; some people are excited for Christmas, but we’re hanging for our next reality TV fix.

It’s like Channel Nine knew what we wanted because they’ve gone and dropped a sneak peek of the upcoming season on the sly and it looks good. But blink and you’ll miss it, ‘cause the preview was part of the network’s highlights for next year.

Luckily you have us, so you’re not missing anything.

The MAFS 2021 trailer (can we call it that?) shows three blonde brides walking down the aisle while grooms wait at the other end of some very opulent looking altars. Check this one out:

But that’s not all folks – one of the grooms is someone we know: Former AFL player Jake Edwards. The 32-year-old, who used to play for Melbourne’s Carlton Football Club, was spotted in Sydney in October on the set of MAFS, so this checks out.

We guess the producers got tired of finding nobody’s and have gone straight to semi-famous Aussies for talent instead? Honestly, not mad about it. Although we’re still waiting for a legit celebrity MAFS to be a thing.

But we digress. If this trailer is anything to go by, MAFS 2021 is set to sizzle.

Others to take part in the upcoming season include former police officer-turned-Pilates instructor Connie ‘Coco’ Stedman, Brisbane theatre star Johnny Balbuziente, Melbourne businessman James Susler and Brisbane native Jason Engler… Plus some unfamiliar faces, of course.

Married At First Sight will premiere on Channel Nine in the new year. The exact date is TBC but you’ll be the first to know.
