Oh BOY have we stumbled upon the treat of the season: Milo mochi balls.

Yes, they’re real and yes, we’re all fools for not thinking of it sooner.

A TikToker user named @audreysaurus shared the recipe on the platform, garnering millions of views (so there might be just one tin left at Woolies) and proving altruism does exist in this world.

For those not in the know, mochi is a Japanese rice cake that, as a soft, squishy ball, is just as fun to play with as it is to eat.

To make Milo mochi balls you’ll need:

  • 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream.
  • 1 tsp sugar.
  • 1 tbsp milo.
  • 60g glutinous rice flour.
  • 30g sugar.
  • 100ml water.
