This morning Bachelorette Becky Miles took to Instagram to announce that things didn’t work out between herself and ‘winner’ Pete Mann. Her sister Elly on the other hand, is still loved up with chosen winner Frazer Neate.
Becky joined Fitzy & Wippa this morning, to discuss what happened between the two and she is heartbroken, confused and disappointed, to say the very least.
“We filmed finale, we had about three days together and they were really lovely days and we sort of left that being like, we were going to miss each other, he was happy that I chose him.
“We had plans to go and visit each other and just see how things were going. I knew it wasn’t going to be easy with Pete because I think, he was a little bit closed off and I knew that. But I thought he was worth taking that risk because I saw lots of really good qualities in him,” Becky revealed to the team.
When Fitzy asked whether there was someone else involved in the couple’s decision to part ways, Becky assured him that this was not the case:
“Once he got home in Adelaide, about three days after being home we had a Facetime and he said ‘look I’m sorry I just can’t do it.’
Becky broke down and admits she still feels quite confused by the situation, saying Pete told her that he didn’t feel a spark between them.
“I just wanted something real and I wanted to give it a real crack in the real world and he just wanted to chuck in the towel without even having a conversation about it.
“I’m angry he didn’t try but then at the same time I am still grateful he told me then when he was one hundred percent sure that he didn’t want to continue.”
