It goes without saying that SAS Australia has got all of Australia talking, and this morning Fitzy & Wippa caught up with former Iron Woman Candice Warner, to discuss her experience on the show.
Candice opened up about the infamous ‘toilet tryst’ with Sonny Bill Williams and commented on her relationship with former pal – and manager – Roxy Jacenko.
In case you didn’t know, Roxy and Candice had a falling out after they faced off in a boxing match which took place for SAS. When asked about what went down, Candice replied with the following:
“Let’s just say we know what we were getting ourselves into and there was an opportunity, before the fight to pull out.
“At that moment we, if we wanted to, we could say no we don’t want to do this. But we both chose to glove up, put the helmet on… and what do you do.”
Fitzy added that Roxy previously mentioned she “walked away” because she didn’t want to punch her friend in the face for entertainment purposes. Candice however, thinks otherwise:
“She tried to [whack her] but she couldn’t land a punch. That’s the honest truth… ask anyone.”
Candice told Fitzy & Wippa that she did apologise to Roxy Jacenko after the match took place, but it didn’t go to air:
“I did apologise there, which obviously that didn’t go to air. You can’t really talk too much because you get in trouble.
“You have to be very careful what you say because the DS are onto everything. But I was shocked by her comments and I’m really sorry that she feels that way.”
Candice revealed that she and Roxy aren’t on speaking terms and contractually, she’s with her management until the end of November.
