Merrick Watts Confirms SAS Australia Recruits Turn On Firass Dirani Tonight

“It’s pretty full on”

If you thought the SAS Australia couldn’t get any tougher, think again ‘cause the recruits are set to embark on a team event that no one (themselves included) saw coming.

After opening up in his interrogation last night, Aussie Comedian Merrick Watts joined Fitzy & Wippa this morning and confirmed that things are set to heat up for the show’s ‘Villain’ Firass Dirani in tonight’s episode.

Look, Firass accused me of not being very funny and I have to give him credit where credit’s due, he’s actually funnier than I am tonight. But he, unfortunately didn’t mean to be.

It was so bizarre that we were all like, in disbelief. We were all standing around going ‘did that just happen?’ – we literally stopped and went ‘Nup, this is a set-up. Firass is a plant, he cannot, he cannot do that, it’s too bizarre, it’s bizarre, he told Fitzy & Wippa.

When asked whether Firass was voted out by his fellow recruits, Merrick revealed that this wasn’t the case. He did, however, mention that the group decided it was time for them to talk to DS about Firass, and their fear he was putting them all in “jeopardy”.

“People were genuinely worried about you know, how they would be able to continue, so it was an absolute unanimous decision

“I actually said ‘there’s no point going to the DS over this, I don’t think we should do it, there’s just going to turn around tell me to shut up and move away which is exactly what they did,” Merrick added.
